My teaching methods are conversational, relatively informal, while focusing on the content. I like to directly instruct for the first few minutes, then let students talk amongst themselves, after which we can come together as a class and compare notes.
I received my MA in philosophy and education from Columbia University, My M.Ed. in high school English from Lesley University, and have lived in China, teaching ESL. I have also formally taught the GRE and tutored students for the SAT.
I will waive the travel fee if you're within twenty miles of my home.
