I take a kind and empathetic, but very professional, approach with all of my students. I have over 7 years of experience as a tutor, and come from a family of teachers (all 4 of my grandparents were public school teachers).
By day, I work in Risk Management at a financial services company.

I’m passionate about giving through, easy to understand explanations and want to make sure that you are able to perform well on exams and tests. Above all I am kind, patient, and want you to succeed.
I am well-versed in a variety of subjects, but specialize in tutoring for:
- Intro-Level College Political Science, Business, Macro-economics, and Micro-economics.
- High School Social Sciences (AP US History, AP US Government, other social studies and history courses)
- English as a Second Language (ESL) on all levels. I have 7 years of experience as an ESL tutor
I like to begin lessons by getting an understanding of what you already know and what you are looking to get out of the lesson, as well as if you’re preparing for anything in particular. I then will “fill in the gaps” and take the lesson deeper in the areas where you are looking to improve and go lighter in the areas where you already have a good understanding, making sure you leave the session feeling confident about the lesson and what you’ve learned.
