About Sheila
Hi world! I'm Sheila, a Dartmouth and K-12 city public school alumna. I love education, teaching, community, history, politics, literature, poetry, social justice, activism, and building confidence in those around me. I'm looking to serve as a part-time tutor in several subjects and academic disciplines I've earned an A in at the Ivy League level in addition to my consulting day job. I love teaching, I've been a tutor for almost a decade now to several students spanning grade levels, neuroprocessing level, school type (local high school versus top-ranked boarding schools like Harvard Westlake or Exeter Academy), and more.
I'd love the opportunity to help you learn, gain confidence and structure, or complete and assignment during a time crunch.

1) Introduction and check-in about your goals, needs, areas of difficulty, mental roadblocks, land specific skills or assignments
2) Confidence, kindness, and encouragement with supplemental walkthrough process (i.e. I will kindly walk you through examples and my approach before probing you to independently problem solve)
3) Guided structure and organization plan, based on lesson or assignment and realistic timeline; check-ins and session style varies by client and preference, along with learning style
Academic Levels: Pre-K to Undergraduate at the highest honors levels at Ivy+ Universities; experience with ESL, SAT, and students on the autism spectrum as well
