About Kyleigh Rain
As a college student, I've had the privilege to be an academic scholar, presented with a full ride for my 4-year degree program at Florida Southern College. I've maintained a 4.0 GPA during my first three semesters and am even the president of a well-known organization on campus. I consistently scored a 32-36 in my ACT prep in high school, with my official English ACT score being a 35. I competed up to state level with the Optimist International Oratorical Contest: 1st Place at Club Level, Southwest Regionals, North Florida District Zone 6. 3rd Place at the State level, North Florida District, winning additional scholarship money.
I have had the joy to participate in many teaching/internship roles, including 2 this summer. I believe I would be a great fit for students requiring additional help in English, and would love to hear from you.

About the lesson

My lessons will foster comprehension and understanding over getting the "correct" answer.
With all English assignments, I will happily go over homework and help bridge the gap between what was taught in class and what was absorbed by the student.
For ACT prep sessions, I will initially go through basic grammar and reading comprehension, eventually moving on to practice tests. I will also give tips and tricks I used to score a 35 in English on my ACT!
With my background in public speaking, I am also able to provide feedback for oration, including all of the do's and don'ts for a successful speech.
All additional lessons will be question and answer style, unless another format is requested.
