About Cheyenne
I aspire to help children form skills and the motivation to be successful in school. While working with 4th graders I've been able to watch a handful of students excel in their reading and comprehension skills. When looking back on my educational journey, I wish I had reached out for academic support or a tutor at an earlier age. And I would like to help play a role in bringing the help to the student.

Reading is the first step to comprehending any topic. In my lessons we will focus in balanced literacy where we not only improve language skills but also the analysis of the texts. I have seen many students go up 2 whole grade levels in reading over 1 summer of Balanced Literacy work.
