About 剣心

Hi, I’m Ken, a passionate Japanese tutor from Japan I’ve helped many international students and travelers learn practical, natural Japanese they can actually use in daily life. With experience in both education and hospitality, I focus on creating lessons that are clear, enjoyable, and personalized to each student’s level and interests. I’m also a language learner myself — I study English and Korean — so I truly understand how it feels to start from zero and build confidence step by step. My goal is not just to teach grammar or vocabulary, but to help you communicate with confidence and feel the joy of expressing yourself in Japanese. If you’re looking for a friendly, patient, and professional tutor, I’d be happy to guide you through your learning journey!

About the lesson

Teaching style & method: My lessons are relaxed and conversation-based. I focus on real Japanese you can actually use — from daily phrases to natural expressions. I adjust my teaching style depending on your level and goals, whether it’s travel, work, or everyday life. Lesson length: Typically 60 minutes, but I’m flexible depending on your needs. Experience & background: I’m a 25-year-old Japanese tutor who has worked in both restaurants and education. I’ve been learning English for years and also study Korean, so I understand what it’s like to learn a new language and can explain things clearly and naturally. Who my lessons are for: All levels and ages are welcome — beginners, intermediate, or advanced! Whether you’re a total starter or already confident in Japanese, I’ll help you enjoy learning and express yourself freely

Ken is super friendly and easy to talk to.
I was nervous at first, but the lesson felt more like a casual conversation than a class.
He explains things clearly and corrects mistakes in a very natural way.
If you want to practice real Japanese without pressure, I really recommend him.
