About Bruce
Hello! I’m a London-based actor and tutor, with experience in primary and secondary education as a drama assistant, CiC tutor, and Performing Arts Teacher. I spent three years at The Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts on their BA Acting course, and have since been involved in multiple Shakespeare tours as well as contemporary theatre and independent film. The LAMDA exams are a fun way of working with students through all manner of poems, extracts, and texts in a one-to-one setting, and I've seen a noticeable shift in a child’s confidence in their performance and social skills. These aren't just tools for actors though; they're transferable skills that any young student will need as they develop their confidence in communicating and presenting. Hopefully, the students I teach today will have that belief at a much earlier age; it won’t seem like such a daunting prospect after all!

Each lesson will be tailored to the needs of the student: - LAMDA Exam, Grades 1-8 - National Youth Theatre Audition - Drama School Audition We will explore a range of actionable tools regarding warm-ups, voice, movement, and textual analysis. Then, depending on the exam you're taking, we will look at finding you a piece that is suitable for your age range and fits the specific assessment criteria. Our final lessons will focus more on audition technique, ensuring you have ownership over your work and trust in yourself in an interview setting.
