About Stephen

I am a serving Headteacher in a large London primary school, a qualified LAMDA teacher (BA Hons, GSA), and a qualified primary school teacher (PGCE, NPQH). With over 15 years’ experience teaching in a wide range of settings, I have successfully supported learners in drama, oracy, literacy, and maths.

As a current LAMDA examiner, I bring deep insight into exam preparation, having taught every syllabus and exam type, including both face-to-face and in preparation for remote online assessments. Alongside my performing arts expertise, I am a highly experienced classroom teacher and senior leader with a track record of raising attainment in core subjects.

I am also completing a PhD in oracy development, combining my academic research with practical teaching experience to help learners communicate with confidence and clarity.

I have limited availability for the 2025/2026 academic year (currently 2 slots remain)

About the lesson

I offer engaging, personalised online tuition in: LAMDA and drama coaching (all grades and disciplines, including ROA and online assessments) Primary maths and Literacy (Key Stages 1–2, SATs prep, confidence building, catch-up support and specialist SEND/dyslexia tuition) Oracy skills development (public speaking, presentation skills, and confidence in communication).

Every lesson is tailored to the learner’s needs, with a focus on building skills, confidence, and enjoyment. My approach blends high expectations with warmth, encouragement and FUN, ensuring learners make rapid progress but also that they enjoy the process.

To date, my LAMDA students have achieved a 100% pass rate, and my primary tuition has helped countless pupils exceed their targets.

His approach combines deep subject knowledge with an understanding of how children learn best. His lessons are fun and I never once had to convince Heather to go to the lessons - she always wanted to attend.
