About April
Much of my childhood was spent writing before I decided to make a commitment and attend University of California Santa Cruz. Later, I wanted to use this skill set to inspire good writing in others and achieved a master's degree in education while living in Hawaii.

I have taught language arts to all age levels in the classroom and online for 10+ years. This has included high functioning students (their parents were with them, during the pandemic. With 10 years in classroom experience, a bachelor's degree in literature / Creative Writing and a master's degree in special education, I have a large toolkit for making the study of literature and writing fun and rewarding.
