About Juli
I am a certified teacher from Alberta, Canada, with years of experience teaching Language Arts and Social Studies. I have worked extensively in reading intervention with students ages 6–16, supporting learners as they build strong literacy skills and confidence.
As a parent who has raised children, I understand both the academic and emotional sides of learning. I bring patience, care, and encouragement to every tutoring session, creating a space where students feel safe to try, struggle, and succeed.
What I love most about teaching is witnessing those powerful “aha” moments—when something finally clicks and a student realizes “I get it.” Those moments drive my results-focused approach and remind me why I do this work.
In addition to academics, my background as a theater director (25+ musicals) allows me to bring creativity, expression, and confidence-building into my teaching style. My goal is always the same: to help students grow not only in skill, but in self-belief.
