About James
I am a new with a keen interest in Latin, Classics and German. I have completed my GCSEs with A*s, A-Levels and degree and would like to pass on my knowledge of these subjects to students. My lessons would consist of past exam paper analysis and exam technique, particularly answering specific questions common in iGCSE/A-level syllabuses. I would incorporate teaching, revision practice and time management to help younger students tackle exams and give them the confidence in their ability. I currently study Modern Languages and Classical Studies.

Tutoring for Latin. I'd teach grammar skills exam technique for comprehension and translation and general useful tools students need to unpick Latin at GCSE/A-Level/University level. I have a keen interest in the subject, study it at University and recieved a perfect score on the Oxford assessments for their application process.
We would look at past papers, work on exam technique, vocab and grammar practice in order to give the student confidence to tackle complex language and translation along with essential knowledge about the literature, history and classical Rome in order to improve Latin skill and knowledge. I personally am very well aquainted with Catullus, Ovid, Virgil, Seneca, Tacitus and Livy to name a few.
