About Michael

Student of Latin / Portuguese by FFLCH-USP, focusing on Western Ancient History and Archeology of Rome by the Museum of Archeology and Ethnology of USP. Works evaluated with a maximum grade by the professors of the University of São Paulo, texts available at (concealed information)

About the lesson

My teaching method for Latin language and is based mainly on the Danish method LINGVA LATINA and the English method Reading Latin, complemented with other grammars (Napoleão de Almeida Mendes, Pierre Grimal, Julio Comba, etc.). Portuguese grammar teaching method based on the grammar of Celso Cunha and Lindley Cintra entitled A Nova Gramática do Português Contemporâneo. Method of teaching Ancient History based on theoretical and didactic texts, depending on the student's need (vestibular, reinforcement for college, etc.) but always aiming at comparing the ancient authors with the historiographical works over time in different regions.

Perfect! O Michael é um excelente professor! Sempre educado, sempre simpático, interessado em buscar as informações que o aluno deseja (no meu caso, Latim vulgar e medieval), mesmo que não sejam a especialidade dele, além de ser compreensivo e paciente com as nossas dificuldades diárias que acabam por nos obrigar a não ir à uma aula ou a não fazer um exercício. Recomendo o Michael sem reservas, um excelente professor!
