About Miranda
I spent two years hosting weekly conversational meet-ups to help non-native speakers practice their English in a relaxed environment. From my own experience, I know that learning a language in school is very different to applying it in the real world. I want to take away some of that pressure and help get you used to a more fluent and natural level of English. I have been a tutor for over a year across a variety of subjects including maths, English, and French. I have a degree in Law and French from the University of Bristol, and whilst studying I took part in many peer support programs, to help people enhance their skills across several fields. I am a friendly and talkative person, and my goal is to help you learn in a relaxed environment that you truly feel comfortable expressing yourself and asking questions in. I have quite varied interests so I'm sure we can find something in common to talk about! I love football (soccer), rugby, cricket, travelling, movies (especially horror!), art, and music, as well as many other things.
