About Abdul
I have tutored in two organisation prior to some recently acquired privately tutored students. I spent a year at my first organisation, Kumon and tutored 'early-learners' who were typically aged between 5-8 years old. I quickly developed management skills and the importance of showing the student how to tackle a challenge as opposed to telling them.
This was followed by a year spent at Boost Education, Ilford and at this centre I tutored students aged 15-17 thus gaining experience in tutoring according to GCSE and A-level curriculum. I helped my students learn to enjoy English (especially English LIterature) and as expected, once a student reaches a point where they are enjoying what they are learning, they tend to be able to apply greater focus.
I am a voracious reader and my focus throughout the course is to achieve two main objectives; supporting my student reach the highest grade possible under their particular curriculum and helping them enjoy the subject of English.

I typically tailor my service to the needs of my student but fundamentally I break down all the requirements stated by the exam authority and focus on delivering the information my student requires in a clear and cohesive manner with an emphasis on the acquisition of independent, critical and analytic ability.
I like to make my lessons fun and engaging, I enjoy making my students think about the words in front of them as they try to extract their meanings and apply them in a way that befits their argument.
As I have just finished my degree and have begun working on a business, I am using this as a way to read more books, help people improve their written and critical abilities as well as contribute towards funding my business.
