About Christabel
I am a third year student at the University of Fort Hare(South Africa) , currently pursuing a four-year Bachelor of Laws Degree(LLB) and plan to follow up with a one year Master's Degree after i graduate in 2020. I have been giving English lessons from November 2013 when i completed my ordinary level since i had a deep understanding on English reading, writing and communication skills. I usually teach a maximum of 15 students(including adults and children). From all these years all my students managed to pass their national exams due to the lessons that i have given them and of course their effort as well. I used to attend workshops for English tutors and through this i managed to acquire the skills and knowledge for teaching.

I am an inspiring teacher who is really committed to make learners understand the concepts being taught. I give lessons to those in primary level, high school level, college or university level and those already in the workplace but wish to further their English skills. I usually use the direct approach during my lessons, this method does not allow learners to use his or her mother tongue so as to help them develop communication skills as well as an understanding in vocabulary. Secondly, i give learners some tasks and they have to complete them with the language they already have. The task may include comprehension reading or writing, vocabulary, essay witting just to mention a few. As a tutor i have expert communication skills, superior listening skills, friendliness, approachability, excellent preparation and organization skills.
