About Leah
As a junior in college, I began tutoring high-school and college students in their core English courses. Later, I began working with students on essay composition as well as poetry composition. At the end of my senior year of college, I earned the English department's Excellence in Poetry award. Three years later, I have wrapped up my first year of law school and have furthered my own writing skills in the realm of legal writing. In my first year legal writing course, I earned an honorable mention award for the best brief in my class. I look forward to passing on my writing skills for your success!

In my course lessons, it is important for the student to build a connection to the concept in which they are composing their essay or other written work. This begins with dissecting the concept to fully understand and build upon their work with research. Further, utilizing examples is prominent in my lessons as the student can visualize what the specific essay or piece of work should look like. My approach intersects at creativity and knowledge to promote success in their written work and collectively in their course.
