About Kylie

I’ve always been drawn to stories- the ones we read, the ones we write, and the ones we carry inside us. My love for literature led me to study English Literature and Women & Gender Studies, and over time that passion grew into teaching, writing, and mentoring others in finding their voice.

Alongside teaching English, I’m also a published children’s author, a yoga teacher, and a somatic coach. These paths may seem different, but for me they are deeply connected. Language, like movement, is about expression. It’s about confidence, presence, and feeling safe enough to share who you are.

I value curiosity, creativity, and thoughtful conversation. I believe learning should feel supportive rather than stressful, and challenging in a way that helps you grow. Whether I’m teaching, writing, or guiding someone through a practice, my intention is always the same: to create a calm, encouraging space where you can explore and express yourself fully.

When I’m not teaching or writing, you’ll likely find me reading, practicing yoga, or working on new creative projects.

About the lesson

Language is more than grammar — it’s how we share who we are. I’m a TEFL/TESOL-certified English teacher with a degree in English Literature and Women & Gender Studies, a published children’s author, and an experienced high school teacher, editor, and scriptwriter. I bring both academic depth and creative experience into every lesson.

I work with teens and adults from beginner to advanced levels who want to build real conversational confidence or explore creative writing in English. I especially enjoy supporting thoughtful, creative, or shy learners who want a safe space to grow.
