About Soumi
Hello! I’m Soumi, a doctoral researcher in English Literature and a university-level tutor. My academic work explores modern literature, philosophy, and critical theory, but my teaching goes beyond research — I love helping students at all levels find clarity and confidence in English. I have experience teaching Master’s students at my university as well as tutoring school and college learners outside it. From guiding BA/MA students through complex theories and dissertations, to supporting Class 10–12 students with grammar, literature, and exams, to helping anyone improve content writing and communication skills — I adapt my methods to each learner’s needs. For me, teaching isn’t just about covering the syllabus; it’s about making learning interactive, encouraging, and meaningful. I believe every student can grow with the right mix of patience, guidance, and inspiration.
