About Giancarlo

I am a professional musician and guitar instructor with a background in Music Industry Arts and Performance from Centennial College. My experience includes teaching guitar, performing live, recording, and working on audio production projects.

As a teacher, I aim to help students develop their skills, confidence, and understanding of music through personalized lessons tailored to their goals and experience. Whether you are a beginner learning your first chords or an advanced player looking to improve your technique, improvisation, or music theory, I will help you build a solid foundation while exploring the music you love.

My teaching approach combines practical exercises with a deeper understanding of how music works, allowing students to apply what they learn directly to their playing. I believe learning guitar should be both rewarding and enjoyable, encouraging each student to develop their own musical identity at their own pace.

About the lesson

My guitar lessons are designed to develop every aspect of your playing, from improvisation, sight-reading, and music theory to technique, rhythm, and musical expression. I combine technical exercises with practical playing, helping you understand the instrument while applying what you learn directly to music.

Throughout our lessons, I introduce songs and a variety of musical genres that I believe will help you grow as a guitarist, while also incorporating your favourite artists and songs to keep the learning process engaging and relevant to your interests. Music theory is an essential part of my teaching approach, allowing you to understand the reasoning behind what you play and apply that knowledge creatively.

By combining structured learning with hands-on practice, my goal is to help you become a more confident, versatile, and independent musician, capable of taking your guitar playing to the next level.
