About Valentina

Hi, I’m Valentina, I’m 39 years old and I’m originally from Naples, Italy. I’ve been living in London for over 10 years, which has given me a strong understanding of both Italian and English language and culture.

I’ve always enjoyed meeting new people and sharing my language, which is why I decided to start teaching Italian. For me, teaching is not just about grammar — it’s about helping people feel confident, communicate naturally, and enjoy the learning process.

Living abroad has helped me understand the challenges of learning a new language, so I’m patient, supportive, and always adapt to each student’s pace and goals.

I’m friendly, easy to talk to, and I like to create a relaxed atmosphere where you feel comfortable practising and making progress.

About the lesson

I am a native Italian speaker with a degree from the University of Bologna, and I am passionate about helping students learn Italian in a practical and enjoyable way.

My teaching approach is student-focused, relaxed, and interactive. I believe the best way to learn a language is by using it, so my lessons focus on speaking, listening, and real-life communication, rather than only grammar rules.

I adapt each lesson to your needs and goals. Depending on your level, we can work on:

Everyday conversation and pronunciation
Grammar explained in a simple and clear way
Travel Italian (useful phrases for real situations)
Building confidence step by step

A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, but I can adjust the length if needed. I aim to keep lessons engaging, supportive, and tailored to your pace.
