About Nina

I am a guitar teacher with 3+ years of experience and a Graduate Certificate in Advanced Guitar Studies. My focus is advanced ear training, an essential part of becoming a complete musician. I teach students how to transcribe solos, developing accuracy and style. We also work on identifying chord progressions by ear, an important skill for collaboration. Perfect pitch and interval recognition are skills we build gradually. These lessons give students independence beyond sheet music. My approach is interactive and supportive, blending drills with creative tasks. I aim to make ear training both effective and enjoyable. Students often tell me they feel more confident improvising and performing after lessons. I believe ear training is the pathway to true musical freedom. My goal is to help you connect with the guitar in a deeper way. Together, we’ll unlock your ear and your creativity.

About the lesson

My teaching approach makes guitar theory practical and inspiring. Lessons focus on scales, modes, chord construction, and harmonic analysis. I show how these ideas connect directly to the fretboard. Students learn to hear patterns and apply them in real time. Improvisation is introduced early so theory feels alive. Composition exercises make use of chords and progressions. I help students bridge the gap between knowledge and fluency. Rock players learn how theory supports solos and riffs. Classical learners gain deeper understanding of structure and harmony. Each lesson is interactive, with space for exploration. I encourage students to experiment while keeping goals clear. My style is supportive and motivating, with patience for every step. Over time, students gain both skill and independence. The aim is always to turn theory into confident, creative playing.
