About Regina

Hi! I'm Miss. G, an elementary education major entering my final year of college and preparing for my residency in the classroom. Teaching has been my passion for as long as I can remember, and I truly believe it is what I was called to do.

Throughout college, I've had the opportunity to teach in multiple elementary classrooms, where I've planned and taught lessons in reading, writing, math, and science. I've worked with students one-on-one, in small groups, and with whole-class instruction, giving me experience supporting many different learning styles. Before college, I also enjoyed tutoring younger students, and that experience only confirmed my love for helping children learn and grow.

Academically, I've maintained a 3.7 GPA while earning recognition on both the Dean's List and President's List throughout my college career. My education has given me a strong understanding of lesson planning, classroom management, child development, assessment, and effective teaching strategies, and I'm excited to use those skills to help your child succeed.

One of the biggest lessons I've learned is that every child is capable of learning. Sometimes they simply haven't been taught in the way that works best for them yet. I love finding creative ways to explain concepts, making learning engaging, and helping students build confidence in themselves. I believe learning should be encouraging, interactive, and enjoyable—not something students fear.

As a future teacher, I know learning never stops. I'm always looking for new ways to grow, improve, and become a better educator because every child deserves someone who is willing to meet them where they are and help them reach their full potential.

I would be honored to be part of your child's learning journey, and I look forward to creating a positive, patient, and encouraging environment where they can feel successful every step of the way.

About the lesson

I believe every student learns differently, and that's the heart of how I teach. My goal isn't just to help students get the right answer—it's to help them truly understand what they're learning and build confidence along the way.

Before each lesson, I plan ahead so every session has a clear goal and is organized. I like to introduce new concepts step by step instead of overwhelming students with too much information at once. I model and explain each skill, we practice it together, and then I gradually encourage students to work more independently as their confidence grows. Throughout every lesson, I include time for questions, discussion, and reflection because I want students to feel comfortable asking for help whenever they need it.

One thing that sets me apart is my patience and flexibility. If one teaching method isn't clicking, I don't believe that means a student can't learn—it simply means we haven't found the right approach yet. I'm happy to try different strategies and teaching methods until we discover what works best for each student because every learner deserves instruction that meets their individual needs.

My lessons are designed for elementary students who need support with reading, writing, math, homework, study skills, or building confidence in the classroom. Whether your child needs extra practice, help understanding a difficult concept, or simply someone who will encourage them and believe in them, my goal is to create a positive learning environment where they can grow at their own pace and enjoy learning.
