I am a dedicated and passionate English educator with practical classroom experience teaching both junior and senior secondary school students. I currently teach English Studies and Commerce in a structured school environment, where I work with learners of varying abilities, helping them develop strong reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills.
I hold a 120-hour TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certification, which has equipped me with effective techniques for teaching English to non-native speakers, including lesson planning, classroom management, and language acquisition strategies.
My teaching experience includes working with young learners and teenagers, many of whom initially struggle with pronunciation, spelling, and confidence in speaking English. Through consistent guidance, structured lessons, and interactive activities, I have helped students improve their fluency, accuracy, and overall communication skills within a short period.
In terms of methodology, I adopt a student-centered and communicative approach to teaching. My lessons are interactive, engaging, and tailored to the individual needs of each learner. I use a combination of techniques such as guided reading, phonics practice, conversational exercises, and real-life examples to make learning practical and enjoyable. I also incorporate question-and-answer sessions, repetition, and positive reinforcement to build confidence and ensure understanding.
