About Mae
Having children of my own, I understand how hard it can be to ask for help. I am here for your child and you. During any lesson I encourage parents to be a part of it. You are their first teacher! If you are not comfortable with a home lesson, that is okay! Learning can happen anywhere, so if a public place would suit your needs better, I'm in. Safety is a priority, I am CPR/First Aid certified, and regularly background checked via the state.

Based on the type of learner they are, I will adapt the lesson to suit the child. There is always a way! I primarily work with children in grades DK through 5th grade on all subjects, math, reading, science, and writing (print and cursive). At the end of each lesson, I will communicate to the parent(s) what we have worked on , and give additional resources for the child to practice before our next lesson if necessary.
