About Tracie

Hello! My name is Tracie, and I bring both experience and passion to my work with students. I hold a bachelor’s degree, am working toward my Oklahoma teaching certification, have completed TEFL training, and am pursuing a master’s degree in history. I have taught multiple subjects across grade levels and understand that every student learns differently.

As an artist, I value creativity, patience, and clear expression, which I bring into my teaching style. I also have a strong love for reading, learning, and teaching, and I enjoy helping students discover that they are capable of understanding more than they think.

I believe in creating a supportive, respectful learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and growing at their own pace. My goal is not only to improve grades but also to build confidence, independence, and lasting academic skills.

I am committed to professionalism, preparation, and encouraging each student to succeed.

About the lesson

My tutoring approach focuses on helping students understand, not just memorize. Lessons are calm, encouraging, and structured so learners feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes while they improve.

Teaching Method and Techniques:
I use step-by-step explanations, guided practice, and real-life examples to clarify concepts. Reading and writing skills are strengthened through short practice activities, discussion, and feedback. I also use TEFL strategies to support comprehension, vocabulary, and confidence, especially for students who struggle or need extra language support.

Typical Lesson Plan:
Each session begins with a brief review of previous material, followed by focused instruction on a single skill or assignment. Students then practice together with support, and finish with independent work to show understanding. The lesson ends with a short recap and study tips for continued improvement.

What Sets Me Apart:
I combine classroom experience across multiple subjects with a patient and positive teaching style. My goal is not only better grades, but stronger confidence and study habits so students can succeed independently.
