About Aya

I’m from Japan and lived there for over 20 years. I also studied abroad in the U.S. for a year, and I previously lived and worked in Australia for a year and a half.

I love helping people learn Japanese, especially those who are interested in anime, Japanese culture, daily life, and fun conversations!

Whether you want to understand your favorite anime without subtitles, talk about Japanese food and traditions, or just enjoy speaking naturally in Japanese, I’m here to help!

I’ve studied English since I was a kid, so I totally understand the challenges of learning a new language. Feel free to ask me anything in English or Japanese, whichever feels easier!

In my free time, I enjoy playing tennis, singing, running, and spending time in nature. I also love chatting about anime and all things Japanese pop culture!

Let’s have fun learning Japanese together, at your own pace, and in your own style. See you in class!

About the lesson
