About MOEKA

Hi, I’m Moeka! I’m a Japanese teacher based in Tokyo with over eight years of experience teaching Japanese online and in person. I previously worked as a head teacher at a Japanese language school in Japan, supporting international students with both their studies and life in Japan.

I have also lived in Australia, so I understand how challenging and rewarding it can be to communicate in another language and settle into a new country.

My lessons focus on helping beginners build a strong foundation in Japanese. You’ll learn grammar step by step and practice using it in conversation. We follow a structured course at a pace that suits you, continuing from where we left off each lesson.

No textbooks are required — I share my original materials on screen. Complete beginners are always welcome!
