About Laura
Received A* in English A-level. I am happy to help with students studying English Language and English Literature at both GCSE's and A-levels. I'm also willing to support students with their English Literature A-level coursework as I received full marks in mine. I have great experience as working with children and young people. I taught a number of my peers as well as primary and high school students in Sixth Form. Helped a number of students pass their exams as well as received top grades. Although, I'm studying a law degree I'm highly passionate about humanities and I hope to do a master degree in English Literature.

My teaching can focus on anything the student wants to cover, whether that's a Literature text, poetry or creative writing for their English Language exam. I believe that often a student helping another student can be more useful than a teacher's help, because they have taken the exam recently and can share and explain their understanding of the subject in a way that's easier for their peers. This is especially the case with exams becoming increasingly more difficult over the past years and the changes to the grading system.
