About Sofia
I first started giving lessons when I was 16, I first helped a year 6 student with sitting their SATs. After successful results, I was then asked by a member of staff at the sixth form to tutor a GCSE student who was struggling with exam technique.
Although I have only taught 2 students, both results have been successful. My first student came out with a level 4 in her SATs - which was great for her, considering she really struggled. My second student got a B in her GCSE English Literature, and achieved higher than both her target and predicted grade.

My name is Sofia, and I am going to University to study English Literature.
I have previously tutored one GCSE student who needed help passing English Literature (she came out with a B and was predicted a low C!) and I have also tutored one year 6 student, who needed help with their English SATs.
I teach students by working through what they are currently learning at school, and also go through exam questions with them and explain what is best in answering.
I have a passion for English, and love teaching others. I understand that many struggle with writing strong essays for top marks, and because of this, I am here to help.
