I am a culturally diverse literature fanatic, who spends a lot of time with younger people at local churches and charities. I have recieved 3 Commendations through my English work and was honoured to participate in the BBC Spelling Bee Challenge Semi Finals. I am able to teach years 3 through to 11, of any gender and background, and can also help more than one student at a time, however I like to limit my groups to sets of 3 so that each student is given adequate attention. Additionally, my teaching style features a wide variety of options depending on the students preference and I am a firm believer in positive reinforcement and reward rather than punishment. I am very patient and friendly and believe a tutor-student dynamic should be of the give and take nature.
