Summary of work experience:
I've been tutoring English language for the last eight years, alongside studying and writing scripts.
I'm a highly experienced in online teaching, who's been delivering English lessons and working as a language consultant for a Japanese agency since 2012.
My other professional teaching/lecturing experience includes:
Lecturing English and Functional Skills to adult students at an English college.
One full school year with year 10 pupils abroad (Bulgaria).
Summer school ESOL (teenagers and adults).
Delivered creative writing lecture to undergrads and worked on course review panel.
Studying for PGCE in 2018/19 and PhD candidate.

I've been teaching and lecturing English for the last seven years (ESL/EAL/EAP) alongside developing and honing my skills as a scriptwriter. My academic background is in education and creative writing and I'm a fully qualified ESOL teacher (who's worked with teenagers, academic students - up to and including doctoral - and business clients). As a writer I've been to workshops held by Pixar and the BBC, and others by well-known names in the industry, and am developing an academic career in lecturing (English and scriptwriting) .
I believe that building a good rapport between student/s and teacher is key to a successful learning environment and I tailor-make lessons and curricula on an individual basis, using material suited to an individual's interests and needs.
