About Ashfaq
hi, my name is Ashfaq and I'm an A-level student, so I'm not that much older than you. I play cricket and tutor English on the weekends. I enjoy English and love teaching English as it is a subject that is highly misunderstood and is a lot easier than you imagine .I believe the best way to learn and improve is through experienced students as they have been in your shoes and have faced the pressure of exams just like you have. so join me on this journey to make English a subject you enjoy :)

A qualified tutor who has taught GCSE-level English to more than 40+ students.
lessons will be 1 hour-long online
I will cover the doubts and problems the student has regarding the subject and will then address the problem, provide past paper questions and will mark them.
for English literature, the students will be given a passage and we will analyze it together, annotate it and write an answer to a question regarding the passage. we will also annotate poetry and improve the skill of inference and interpreting which is a skill achieved through practice.
for the English language, the students will be provided with a picture or a question and the student will be taught vital techniques, shown marked examples, and will attempt the question. then corrected and will attempt it again. practise makes perfect :)
lessons will be for students from the age of 12-16/ GCSE
