About Isabelle

I study English literature, English language and fine art at college and I consider myself a creative person. Growing up I was naturally shy and struggled with confidence, so I want to help people build their self-confidence by feeling capable in English.

About the lesson

I am a 6th form student who studies both English literature and English language. I want to encourage students to feel confident and capable in English. I have tutored before, and I base my lessons on what the students feel comfortable with, whether that's using a more conversational style, visual or writing things down. I love studying and teaching English and want to share this with others!

Izzy tutored me for my english mocks, and she was the biggest help! she would always help me with context of the curtain thing i’m studying and would give me tips on how i should write up, and how to study, revise…
Izzy’s kind, smart and dedicated attitude towards helping me meant that i got the highest mark in my mocks i could, and meant that i am going back to her after the summer break to get the highest mark in my GCSEs as i can get.
