About Layla
My name is Layla Strickland and I am an level student at a top girls grammar school in my area. I have completed my GCSE’s, achieving 7 A’s and a 3 B’s. I am very enthusiastic about learning and am always working to achieve to the highest possible level. I have experience of tutoring my younger brother all throughout primary school and the first few years of high school.

- The typical length of a lesson would be 30 mins to an hour becauseyounger students may not want to be sat working for too long because they may find it hard to concentrate for longer periods, so I aim to keep my lessons and short and concise and possible whilst being a highly supportive and engaging teacher.
- I will send over worksheets before the lesson created by me for my students so they can remain on task and easily follow along with my teaching.
- The lessons are aimed at students in primary school , ages 5-11, and those who are in their early years of high school, ages 11-13.
- I have a good experience with teaching younger children, as I have always tutored and supported my younger brother with his work throughout primary school and early years of high school.
