About Jodie
I am a 17-year-old sixth former living in Leeds, and I have dreamt of being a teacher since I was very young. I volunteer in school to do mentoring once a week with a younger student, and I help in GCSE French classes focused on speaking on a weekly rota. I have lots of experience helping students my own age and slightly younger.

I assess where the student is, either by talking or practice questions, then focus our sessions on where the gaps are, blending information giving and practice with humour to make the lessons more engaging. I have experience with 30-minute sessions practising French speaking, however this can be easily extended or shortened to a maximum of an hour. I can tutor in maths, French, English Language and English Literature to GCSE level, and can provide advice and practice for exam-style essays and answers for these subjects and GCSE Design Technology. I have the most experience up to GCSE level content, but I can tutor as young as year 7 with writing and comprehension skills.
