Hi! I'm an A level student with a place to study at Oxford in 2021. I received 11 9's, an 8 and an A* in GCSE and am precited 4A*s at A level. I tutor a range of subjects and skill levels, ages 6-17.

About Talia
I've had 4 years of tutoring experience, including:
- 7+ prep
- GCSE maths, English, and any other essay subjects.
- A-level Philosophy and Economics
- UCAS and personal statement preparation
- kickboxing and self defence lessons
I have had the most experience with 7+, tutoring 6 year old twins 3 hours a week for a year, after which they both got into their top choice schools.
I can give online lessons, but also drive anywhere close enough to Claygate.

My teaching method is unique, in the sense that I feel if students don't enjoy what they are learning, they can never fully engage! I'm 17 years old so I have a very friendly and enthusiastic attitude to the lessons. I feel this is important as it's so beneficial for kids to have an actual passion and interest in the information, otherwise they'll never actually want to learn.
I tend to structure my lessons with a quick re-cap at the start to see how much has been retained, followed by questions completed together and then occasionally independent work under timed conditions (which I'll mark and provide feedback on).
I also add frequent breaks - especially for younger students! :)
