About Jessaver

Hi! I’m April, I am a professional teacher that is based in the Philippines.
I am a teacher who genuinely enjoys helping people become more comfortable and confident with English.

I believe learning English should feel less like memorising a long list of rules and more like having a conversation with someone who wants to help you grow.

Maybe you already understand English but struggle to speak it.

Maybe you know the words, but you’re not sure how to put them together naturally.

Maybe you’re afraid of making mistakes when speaking.

Or maybe you simply want someone to practise English with.

That’s where I come in.

In my lessons, I want you to feel comfortable being yourself. You don’t have to worry about giving me a “perfect” answer. You can make mistakes, ask questions, repeat yourself, or take your time. I’ll be there to guide you not to judge you.

I like making lessons personal, practical, and connected to real life. We can talk about your hobbies, your family, your work, your studies, your dreams, your favourite things, or even something that happened to you today.

While we talk, I’ll help you improve your vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, sentence construction, and most importantly, your confidence in communicating.

I don't want you to leave my class thinking, “I memorised another English lesson.”

I want you to leave thinking:

“I actually learned how to use English today.”

As your tutor, I’ll meet you where you are. We’ll work on what you need, at a pace that allows you to learn without feeling overwhelmed.

And if you make a mistake?

That's okay.

We'll fix it, learn from it, and try again.

Because I believe that every mistake is simply another opportunity to become a better English speaker.

So, if you're looking for a tutor who will patiently guide you, listen to you, encourage you, and make English feel a little less intimidating.

About the lesson

You don't need perfect English. You need someone who will help you become confident using it.

Hi! I'm an educator and online teacher, and my goal is simple: I want to help you feel comfortable using English—not just memorising it.

In my lessons, we won't spend the entire class memorising grammar rules or answering questions from a textbook.

We'll talk.

We'll practise real-life situations.

We'll learn how to express your thoughts naturally.

And yes, I'll correct your mistakes—but I won't make you feel bad for making them.

Maybe you want to improve your English for school.

Maybe you need it for work.

Maybe you want to travel.

Maybe you understand English but feel nervous whenever you have to speak.

Or maybe you simply want to become more confident.

Whatever your reason is, we'll start from where you are.

A typical lesson with me might look like this:

️ We have a real conversation.
I introduce useful words and expressions.
️ We work on the mistakes that are holding you back.
You practise using what you've learned.
And most importantly, you leave the lesson knowing that you can do a little more than you could before.

I don't expect you to speak perfect English on your first lesson.

I just want you to be brave enough to start.

Let's learn English, not to sound perfect, but to be understood, heard, and confident.
