About Haley
I have almost 8 years of experience working with students in an urban, public school setting. I received my bachelor's degree in special education (ABS) from Minnesota State University- Mankato in 2023. I am confident in teaching skills to elementary-aged students who are working on growing their academic skills to meet grade-level standards. I have experience writing and implementing IEPs as well as facilitating comprehensive special education evaluations as well as writing goals and objectives that support student growth.

My lessons tend to be structured with a repetitive routine of a warm-up, lesson introduction and modeling, group practice, as well as some independent practice. I feel that repetition and routine are important for new skill retention and generalization. Lessons are catered to meet student needs in specific skill areas they may have goals in.
