About Benjamin
I have a Master's in which my focus was alternative forms of teaching. I was Head of Curriculum at a language school. I have teaching licenses in Oregon and Michigan and have taught in both states. I am experienced working with neurodivergent students and have worked with students from all over the world both in person and online. I am British and American. I have been living and working in the US for 15 years, with a 2-year stint in the middle where I was teaching in Japan. I am also a published academic writer with my work being used in the Dictionary of Literary Biographies.

Each lesson will be built around students' wants and needs. Based on age, I will use age-appropriate activities that help prevent adults and children from getting the most out of lessons. Each of my lessons will be structured similarly to allow students to understand exactly what we will be doing during the lesson. My lessons are always as fun and engaging as I can make them, taking student feedback to maximize engagement.
