About Andrew
Played in tournaments in middle and high school and into college. I took 3rd in an under-18 unranked tournament when I was 12 as well as won 4-5 high school tournaments. I still spend my free time working through chess problems for fun.

As with any subject, I make sure to tailor my approach to the students goals and preferred learning style. With chess, I find that the combination between book and board is highly necessary (especially for learning the rules); talking about the concept and playing out on the board simultaneously.

Details
Cancellation Policy - As long as I am notified before the start of the session, there will be no fee assessed. Any cancellations after the session has begun will be $10.
No-show Policy - The full $15 will be assessed if no notice of cancellation is provided and the student does not attend the session.
