About Rachel
I have worked as a tutor, teacher, principal, and now curriculum supervisor in public education for 32 years. Teaching students how to read is my passion. I am trained in the science of reading and hold a master’s degree in reading education. I would love the opportunity to work with you!

Please join me for high energy tutoring sessions with tons of engaging tutor/student interactions and activities! Students will be given a diagnostic assessment to determine an entry point for remediation. Students will be progress monitored every 5 days to ensure timely feedback and appropriate academic planning for future sessions. Students will also be given a weekly progress report and practice work to complete outside scheduled tutoring sessions to promote quick acquisition of skills.
