About Lizzie
I am a London university student in English Literature and have excellent grades (A* at iGCSE and A-Level/Predicted 1st Class Degree) and am passionate about sharing what I love about my subject with others. English and essay writing can be very daunting for those who aren't confident in it, and I aim to not only improve understanding, but leave students with a rekindled interest in English which lasts long after the lesson is over.
I have worked both as a private tutor and a teaching assistant in an independed UK school, and therefore have a very good understanding of different learning environments, as well as the unique challenges posed by the current situation. Many students, at all stages of their academic careers, have fallen behind during the pandemic and require a dedicated, professional tutor to help them stay on track.

I am an experienced tutor in English who can provide literature, essay and grammar specific for students of all ages, whether your 10 year old needs help with English comprehensions, or you are looking for someone to proofread and structure your essay. I am confident at delivering in person classes for students who need extra help with classwork, or essay writing. During the coronavirus pandemic, I have also adapted my classes to be suitable for ZOOM and Microsoft Teams, using a wide range of online tools to make lessons engaging and effective. I can plan a unique study plan for students looking to go above and beyond their schoolwork as well as edit essays, advise on essay structure, or help with language proofreading.
I foremost try to establish a plan with the student, which we both feel will be affective and achievable, prior to starting. This is to ensure I adapt my classes to fit every students learning style and goals.
