About Caroline
I don’t just teach English—I build confident communicators. As an English tutor, my focus goes far beyond grammar rules, vocabulary lists, poetry analysis and essay structure: I help students, however young, find their voice, express their ideas clearly, and engage with language in a way that feels natural and empowering. Every lesson I design is tailored to the individual, whether they’re preparing for exams, making English their master language, improving professional communication, or simply gaining confidence in everyday conversation. I nurture each individual cognitive profile and help each tutee achieve their own personal level of academic excellence.
What sets me apart is my ability to connect. I create a learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and pushing their limits. I adapt my teaching style to suit each learner’s pace, goals, and interests.
I’m also deeply committed to results. I track progress carefully, celebrate improvements, and continuously refine my approach to ensure each student sees real, measurable growth. My lessons are engaging, structured, and practical.
Ultimately, I want my tutees to love English the way I do and build their confidence. This is what makes me a good tutor whether in a home-schooling situation teaching English as a foreign language, extra tutoring or being part of a school community (I love being part of a team.

I have had a vast amount of teaching experience of all ages as a specialist/dyslexic teacher and as a foreign language teacher. I like to make a massive difference to other people’s lives. I have held many positions of responsibility in various fields and have benefited from diverse experience while travelling at home and abroad. I am an excellent communicator and team player. I am 100% reliable, conscientious, humourous and energetic. My biggest aim when teaching a child: to make him/her believe in him/herself and to inject real self-confidence and self-belief, both social and academic.
