About Robert

I've been teaching and tutoring ever since college and I don't plan to stop any time soon.

In 2014 I graduated from U of I Springfield with a BA in English and a history - education double minor. Since then I've taught special ed reading, K - 5 language arts, and high school English. I've worked for public schools and private companies but I work best when I'm in my own classroom, playing by my own rules.

I have taught K - 12th grade reading and writing, so I am well equipped to work with just about any student. I will meet you at your skill level and help you reach your goals.

About the lesson

Hard work, focus, and mutual respect are my must - haves. My favorite students aren't the highest achievers; they're the ones who grow the most. I design interesting lessons, creative projects, and tough tests; we'll look at the material from many different angles and make it relevant to your life.
