About Linda
I taught English in an alternative high school for students who had dropped out or flunked out of regular high school. I did this for one school year. I ended up tutoring some Native American girls at a home for unwed mothers who grew up speaking their tribal language and not English. After that, I started working with youth and families on personal problems. Later I ended up teaching workers how to work with these youth in a project that had me traveling around the USA to do this type of training.

My method is to assess each student and see where they currently are with learning English. Then, we will work together to develop a lesson plan that will fit their needs. I like to use individual instruction as well as group instruction to help them advance in learning English. I will incorporate activities that will help interest them and incorporate learning.
