About Leslie
I have been a teacher for 25 years, and averaged 200 students a year while in the classroom. While working for a private school/ tutoring service, I taught as many as 20 separate students with 20 separate skill sets and needs, all at the same time. 95% of my students over the years have graduated, many being the only ones in their family to do so.

I am an experienced, highly educated, devoted teacher who is driven to help my students excel. I primarily teach grades 8-12, focusing on all things English Language Arts. I tailor-make my lessons for each student, identifying their challenges and reinforcing their strengths. I am an eclectic teacher, drawing from books, technology and visual material. My rapport with my students is very strong, as I treat every one of them with mutual maturity, compassion and respect.
