About Mpelegeng
My name is Mpelegeng (Mpele, for short) Manyaka, a 19 year old who is currently studying towards a BCom Law degree at IIE MSA (Monash University), in Johannesburg.
From being asked to help younger siblings with homework, volunteering to teach and help younger students with reading and study methods back in high school, as well as the love I've always had for interacting with others, including in the academic space, I've come to realise that tutoring especially now that I've got more time on my hands as a first year student, is something I would enjoy, learn from and excel in.
I know that I can be trusted with learners as someone who interacts well with those around her, and is a good listener and believe that the study methods I had learnt to use throughout my school career and still,in university can be easily understood, implemented and adapted by other learners in order for them to understand and study with as well.

Patience and attentiveness are the two main traits that I've appreciated from teachers while still in school, and now, lecturers in university. This is why I plan on showcasing these traits, while learning about a learner, how they prefer to be taught, as well as how I will put in the effort to understand their study methods in order to make the most of our interactions, as well as helping them understand the work.
No pressure will be placed on learners, and as someone who is fresh out of high school, and passionate about staying organized and putting schoolwork first, I will ensure that I don't treat any learner as just that, but as a friend that I can also learn from.
This is a journey I trust will be a good one.
Let's learn from each other, and work towards helping you pass, not by just taking information and putting in on paper, but making learning interesting through visual learning, riddles, and effective note-taking.
