About Rosa

My name is Rosa, and I am a native English speaker from the Dominican Republic and a college student with a strong interest in communication and language learning. I provide professional, structured English lessons focused on helping students communicate clearly and confidently in real-life situations. I specialize in conversational English, pronunciation, and practical vocabulary. My teaching style is patient, supportive, and tailored to each student’s goals and level. I understand that learning a new language can feel challenging, so I create a respectful and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable making steady progress. As a bilingual English–Spanish speaker, I am able to support Spanish-speaking learners by explaining concepts clearly when helpful, while maintaining an English-immersive learning experience. I am reliable, organized, and committed to providing high-quality, personalized lessons with consistent feedback. My goal is to help students build confidence, fluency, and communication skills they can apply in academic, professional, and everyday settings.

About the lesson

Teaching Approach:

My name is Rosa, and I offer a structured, supportive, and student-centered approach to teaching English. I prioritize clear communication, confidence building, and practical language use to help students succeed in real-world situations.

Teaching Method & Techniques:

My teaching focuses on conversational English, pronunciation, and functional vocabulary. Lessons are adapted to each student’s level, goals, and learning pace. I provide clear explanations, gentle corrections, and consistent feedback. As a bilingual English–Spanish speaker, I can clarify concepts in Spanish when appropriate, particularly for beginners.

Typical Lesson Structure:

A typical lesson begins with guided conversation to encourage natural speaking and fluency. We then focus on targeted areas such as vocabulary expansion, pronunciation, or situational English for school, work, travel, or daily life. Lessons are interactive and tailored to individual goals, with emphasis on steady progress.

What Sets Me Apart:

As a college student, I bring a relatable, patient, and flexible perspective to learning. I understand the challenges of acquiring a new language and aim to create a respectful, encouraging environment. My bilingual background allows me to support Spanish-speaking learners while maintaining a strong English-learning focus.

Who the Lessons Are For:

My lessons are designed for beginner to intermediate students, especially Spanish speakers seeking to improve conversational English, confidence, and pronunciation. They are well suited for learners preparing for academic settings, professional environments, or everyday communication.
