I like to take some time at the beginning of our time together to ask the students questions and spend time getting to know them, as well as give them the opportunity to ask me any questions they have. Depending on the goal of our tutoring sessions, I will give an initial diagnostic screening to get a good understanding of the student's current skill levels and determine a plan for our time together.
