About Visnja
I hold a Master's degree in Classical philology, and I met with Latin as early as the age of fifteen, when I fell in love with the language. I started teaching it while I was still studying, and never stopped! I have tutored high school students privately, and taught Latin in high school, where the focus was on making students familiar with Latin grammar, vocabulary and sentence construction. I have also prepared University students for their Latin exams, where they learned how to read Latin texts and comment on them in the aspect of grammar, syntax, literary and historical contexts.

I am here to show you how interesting and useful Latin can be, and guide you through your journey through this language of the past, if your goal is to pass an exam or read Latin works in the original form. The most important thing to understand is that Latin is a language. Maybe not a language in which we can communicate with many people, but still a language that was once used as a communication tool. My goal is to make you capable of understanding Latin sentences and even making ones on your own! I am offering to make acquainted with Latin grammar, vocabulary, and sentence construction, if you are not already familiar with them. If you are, however, and you want to be able to read and comment on Roman poetry and prose, I will be more than happy to assist you in that quest.
